
Dubawa Hosts Journalists, Researchers for its 2020 Fellowship Programme By Raji Rasaq The Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism, through its Dubawa fact-checking project has commenced its 2020 fact-checking fellowship for journalists and researchers across the geo-political zone of Nigeria. The programme which begins with a mandatory 4-day virtual meeting/training aims at providing training and support for fellows to tackle misinformation and hold political elites accountable for their words and action. The 4-day extensive training commences on July 8 and is expected to end on July 13 2020. Participants who are drawn from the various media environment including online, blog, print and electronic media are expected to organise step-down feedback and institute a culture of fact-checking and verification in their various organisations.
